Going into the 50th GP at one of the oldest tracks on the calendar, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve……
Going into the seventh race of the season and it’s still all to play for, with the Mercedes just a few milliseconds behind the Ferrari’s many are watching Canada to try a reveal what Abu Dhabi might look like.
However, if we take a look at the 4.361km track, it’s hard not to think one team will be taking podium.
That team being Ferrari, with their few mili-second lead on the other title contender Mercedes on the Canadian track it won’t be so easy to keep up.
The track features some incredibly long straights which will make it very difficult to keep up. The hope for Mercedes is they can make up some time around the wall of champions or the Pont De La Concorde in order to keep pace.
However, if I was honest I think it will be a Ferrari lock out.
As for the likes of RedBull, it will be most likely be a two man race between Ricciardo & Verstappen.
It will however be a tense battle between the Haas, Toro Rosso and Force India crews and it is hard to tell at this point who will come out on top. (my bet is on the Rosso’s…)
