    Brief History

The Suzuka circuit is seen as one of the greatest tracks in Formula One calendar, Originally built by Honda in 1962 as a test facility. The track was designed by John Hugenholz, and also incorporates a massive theme park, with the big wheel dominating the tracks skyline.

Traditionally until 2004, the Japanese Grand Prix was the last in the season and has seen many World Championships won there.

Suzuka is known as a challenging track, with its unique figure-of-eight layout and two very well known corners, the high-speed 130R and Spoon Curve. Due to this unique layout, the Suzuka track is a great test of driver skill, making it a favourite amongst drivers.
