The latest reports into the death of former Marussia test driver Maria De Villota are claiming she died of injuries relating to her accident in 2012.
A forensic doctor has reportedly told her family she died “as a consequence of the neurological injuries she suffered” during her 2012 crash.
Maria almost lost her life in the accident when her Marussia car collided with a lorry during a Marussia straight line test. Maria lost her eye in the accident and has worn an eye patch ever since.
