After starting the Hungarian grand prix from second place and showing strong pace throughout, Romain Grosjean believes his first win is closer than ever.

“We proved in Germany and Hungary that we can compete right at the front of the grid and I think if we can continue to improve at the same rate we will be looking pretty good for the remaining nine races.”

“I’m feeling more and more comfortable in the car every time I drive it which is certainly a good sign looking forwards.”

“After our performance in the last few races, I honestly believe my first win is now just around the corner.”

    His first win will be an uphill battle, not because he isnt fast or that he doesnt deserve it, its about the FIA and the stewards. If your not with Mercedes, Red Bull or Ferrari then you will be penalized where they are let off. Vettel went off the track completely twice defending against Grosjean and was not even investigated. Mercedes can do illegal tyre tests then suggests its own penalty. There is nothing honest or fair with the FIA or F1.
