Formula One News » F1 2013 – Red Bull deny young driver test boycott reports

Red Bull’s Helmut Marko has denied Red Bull is set to boycott the upcoming young driver test in favour of their own private test – which is against the rules.

Spekaing to Sport Bild, Dr Marko said “We of course do not commit a breach of rules.”

“At the Young Drivers’ Test you can barely try something as the drivers behind the wheel have a lot to learn about Formula One. Mercedes, however, have had three days [of testing] with their regular drivers. Even the judges stated that the team had an ‘unfair sporting advantage’.”
