Formula One News » F1 2013 – Bernie Ecclestone to remain as F1 boss unless convicted

Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that he has the backing of the CVC board and will remain as the boss of F1 unless he is convicted.

Ecclestone told the Sunday Times “Everyone voted to support me staying on and running the business, the board agrees I should stay unless I’m convicted.”

“I still don’t know what the German prosecutors think.

“I wish I was guilty – it would be much easier. The charges are a complete load of rubbish.”

“I’m British. I pay my taxes and, in the end, the truth will come out.”
