Ferrari looking to take a step forward at the Chinese grand prix

Formula One News » Ferrari looking to take a step forward at the Chinese grand prix

Stefano Domenicali has told the official Ferrari website that he hopes Ferrari will “profit” from mistakes made by others and confirmed the team will be bringing upgrades to the 2013 Chinese grand prix.

“The most important thing is to understand the real performance level of the car. That is certainly positive, but we must keep making steps forward. It is important to understand the tyres, because that will be the theme of this year,”

“There will be plenty of races, where we see, like the one in Malaysia, a skewed picture of who picks up important points. Hopefully this will happen to other teams too because seeing the situation at some of the other teams, there will certainly be plenty of tension.”

“I don’t want to talk about the others. I want to stay focused on our own team and then if others have problems we must profit from them.”

“It is clear that Shanghai is a different track again, where we must bring developments to the car and make the most of what we already have so we can maximise the whole package.”
