Red Bull Racing has confirmed that Sebastian Vettel had more power and tyre life than Mark Webber during the closing stages of the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Bernie Ecclestone told the The Mail on Sunday.”After speaking with Christian, it seems Mark was told to turn down the wick on his engine, but the team didn’t tell Sebastian to do the same thing,”

Red Bull confirmed Bernie’s comments:
“Seb’s engine was turned down, but not as much as Mark’s due to differing strategies and tyre wear.”
