    Fernando Alonso who narrowly missed out on becoming 2012 formula 1 world champion to Sebastian Vettel believes red bull will still be the team to beat during the 2013 f1 season.

    “Red Bull, McLaren, Lotus will be there. And Mercedes, who have been working on this car since the middle of last season, have improved,” he is quoted as saying in Spain’s El Pais newspaper.

    “But it would be a major surprise if Red Bull were not in front of everyone.”

    “In 2012 we started the Championship to 1.6 seconds of our rivals. Now we are closer.”
