Fernando Alonso is the quickest man mid-day at Barcelona setting a quickest time of 1:21.875 and covering 51 laps.
Fernando and Nico Hulkenberg traded times as they both went around the circuit on the soft Pirelli tyres with Hulkenberg ending up 0.286 slower than the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso.
Pastor Maldonado cover 79 laps as Williams focused on longer runs.
Adrian Sutil made his return to force India and focused on gathering data and aero tests, Sutil currently lies in 7th place behind the Mclaren of Jenson button.
