Sergio Perez was the quickest man in Barcelona on Wednesday, as he set a time of 1:21.848 on a one lap run using soft tyres. Perez beat Vettels early morning time by 0.349s.

Kimi Raikkonen lost most of his running time early morning due to a gearbox change, he re-joined later in the day to go third quickest, +0.849s slower than Perez and covering a total of 43 laps.

It was Lewis Hamilton who covered the most laps today, with a total of 121 laps being covered by the brit. Hamilton ended the day 4th just ahead of 5th placed Fernando Alonso.

There were 2 red flags the whole day, one from Sebastian Vettel who came to a halt at the end of the pitlane and one for the Marussia of Max Chilton at the end of the day.
