If the rumours are to be believed Ross Brawn and Nick Fry are on their way OUT at Mercedes with Eddie Jordan claiming that Mclaren’s Paddy Lowe is on his way IN to replace Ross Brawn.
In recent developments Toto wolff has moved from Williams to Mercedes as the new Mercedes-benz motorsport boss, Toto gains a reported 30% shareholding in Mercedes Benz and also retains his shareholding in Williams.
The changes at Mercedes-benz GP have fuelled a rumour that Lewis Hamilton’s dreams of working with Ross Brawn could be over before they have begun.
Mclaren’s Paddy Lowe, a great friend of Lewis Hamilton and the mastermind behind his 2008 world title is rumoured to be coming in to replace Brawn.
Toto wolff has commented saying “Ross is here as part of the leading team and I hope Ross is going to stay…. At this stage it would be foolish to come in and speak about replacing anybody.”
The Daily Mail reports that Paddy Lowe earns £600,000 with Mclaren, with Mercedes prepared to offer him a rumoured £900,000.
Paddy Lowe is rumoured to of “not made his mind up” as of yet.
